National Forest Land and Open Space surround our Hideaway. We are often visited by lots of different wildlife and always lots of birds. We are located nest to a trailhead leading to miles of interconnected trails perfect for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, snow biking or cross country skiing - and most of it is kid friendly. It is an easy place to get out and experience the natural environment.
The Winter Park/Mary Jane ski area is one of Colorado's Favorite winter wonderland and ski destination, a short 5 mile drive up the valley. There are several options for parking at the resort, or The Lift, the Resort/Town shuttle, has several stops in Rendezvous.
Hideaway has a spacious open floor plan with lots of natural light and a wide open Great Room on main floor. A matching recreation/family room is located down stairs – plenty of elbow room (see plan drawings in photos/images). With the master bedroom on the main floor, this place is as comfortable for 2 as it is for 12. It is comfortably furnished and fully equipped for all of your needs.
An outdoor hot tub is nestled among the pines, aspens and giant willows. A great place to enjoy the beautiful, natural setting of Hideaway Cabin.
The four-bedroom layout can comfortably accommodate three families (e.g. three generations) with 12 in beds in four rooms.
Master 1 - King - master bath suite w/jetted tub
Master 2 - King - dedicated bath
Family Bedroom - double bed and two twins (one above and one trundle - shared 3-pc. bath
Bunkroom - four twin bunked beds, shared 3pc. bath as above
Plus - double sleeper sofa in the downstairs recreation den/room.
Large dining room can comfortably accommodate 12+ with additional seating at the kitchen island counter and living room game table or subject to season, outdoor porch/deck seating.
If you tire of all the outdoor activities during your visit, the new Grand Park Recreation Center has a full work out facility, lap pool and kid’s play pool with giant water slide. It is located across from the Rendezvous entrance on Highway 40 (please see the link below our calendar). Our location also provides much wildlife viewing right off the back deck; winter or summer (see the picture of the moose below). We also have lots of games, books, music and movies to help keep you entertained during your stay.
Hideaway is sandwiched between the towns of Winter Park and Fraser, both well served by shopping, dining and recreation/living/safety services.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay close to winter park and town. The house was clean and had a nicely stocked kitchen. The highlights were hot tubbing and enjoying the views from the spacious living room with surround windows. Our family was comfortable and would love to return in the future.

Summary: We had a great stay! The cabin has plenty of space to spread out. My family of four (2 boys) and our parents on both sides stayed with us. The boys appreciated having their own space downstairs to play when we were at the house. We also appreciated that they were downstairs so we could enjoy conversations upstairs.There are great spaces in the house that allowed us to play games, converse, and eat as a family. The kitchen had plenty of supplies, and we appreciated that some spices and snacks were available. There are also ample towels for the size of the house.My only complaint of the house is the beds. The upstairs master has a VERY loud old frame so everyone downstairs could hear my in-laws get in and out of bed all night. This kept several us up throughout the night. The twin room bunks were also very uncomfortable. Would I stay again? Only if the beds were upgraded. Sleep is key when you are skiing every day!

Summary: Great house for a family gathering - comfortable and clean with plenty of space to cook, eat, relax and enjoy after amazing skiing at Winter Park. Close proximity to the mountain and town. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend!!

Summary: This home has a wonderful open layout that lends to a comfy and cozy mountain experience. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of space and seating to enjoy the company of others, and many little “extras” that allow all to enjoy a lovely stay. The location is premium, close to town and very near the rendezvous trails. We visited during the winter months but hope to return in the summer as there is an incredible deck with beautiful views.

Summary: It was all it said it was and a bit more. The drive to ski was very short. We did not eat out - we prepared all of our meals at the house. The kitchen was well kept with ample tooling and a decent amount of space for two people and the occasional third to work. We had 9 people and the space was great. It was fantastic to be able to spread out but to also have a table big enough for all of us to eat together. A great property for a decent sized group
